How to install:
The shelf features attached wooden mounting brackets with pre-drilled holes. For installation, there are 4 steps involved and you will need a drill, a pencil, a hammer and a screwdriver in order to complete the installation.
- Place the shelf where you want it to go, then mark each hole you'll need to drill; notice that the mounting bracket has two holes on each straight side.
- Drill holes on the marks you have made.
- For mounting on drywall, use a hammer to push the plastic expansion bolts into the holes. Omit this step if mounting to stud.
- Place the shelf next to the wall and align the mounting bracket to the pre-drilled holes. When correctly aligned, the shelf should sit on top of the bracket. Use a screwdriver to drive the screws through the mounting bracket into the expansion bolts (for drywall) or directly into the pre-drilled holes.
